By removing excess fat through
small suction tubes, liposuction permanently improves
the contour of the areas treated. Most patients
are close to normal weight, but have exercise resistant
fat and desire a more flattering physique. Technique
advancements do now allow for a higher volume of
fat to be removed, so heavier patients need not
turn away. Common treatment areas include the abdomen
and waste, thighs, hips, neck, upper arms, inner
knees, calves and ankles.
